NOAA Weather Report: "Thin cirrus and contrails will remain..."

.SYNOPSIS...
A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE WEST AND MOVE ACROSS THE
CAROLINAS BY FRIDAY MORNING. ANOTHER RIDGE OF DRY HIGH PRESSURE WILL
BUILD OVER THE EAST COAST FOR THE WEEKEND. THE NEXT SYSTEM WILL
APPROACH THE REGION EARLY NEXT WEEK.

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TONIGHT/...
THIN CIRRUS AND CONTRAILS WILL REMAIN OVER THE CWA THROUGH THE EARLY
AFTERNOON...THEN THICKER CIRRUS WILL ARRIVE DURING THE LATE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. WEAK WAA AND INCREASING SOUTH LLVL
WINDS SHOULD SUPPORT HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND NORMAL...IF NOT A
DEGREE OR TWO ABOVE NORMAL. I WILL WARM TEMPS A DEGREE OR SO FOR THE
UPDATE. CONDITIONS SHOULD REMAIN DRY DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS.

CONTRAILS AND THIN CIRRUS THIS AFTERNOON. LIGHT SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL
CONTINUE ACROSS THE CWA TODAY...PRESERVING MILD LLVL TEMPS AND
THICKNESSES. AFTER SUNRISE...TEMPERATURES WILL STEADILY WARM FROM
COOL MORNING MIN VALUES. A COMBINATION OF STRONG INSOLATION...MILD
LLVL PROFILES...AND LIGHT WINDS WILL YIELD HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND
NORMAL VALUES.

  1. strange report ? Seems like theyre trying to convince us its normal . Blue skies here today for the first time since jan 2nd , not a cloud in the sky and only the normal aircraft going north or south . Why I wonder ?
